About Celo
The Celo Foundation (“Foundation”) is focused on attracting the best values-aligned founders, builders, and developers to the community.
Each year the Foundation facilitates a flagship hackathon to introduce new and existing developers and builders to the Celo Platform (“Platform”). Participation in an inclusive hackathon helps drive awareness about mission aligned projects choosing to build on the Platform.
Hackathons also act as a source for innovative projects to be included in potential incubators and startup programs. In addition to the focus on ReFi, there will be opportunities to connect with companies in the Celo ecosystem. The awards program will include valuable feedback and time from ecosystem partners like, will be small in dollar amount, but will include time with the team (e.g. Kickstarter UI, Toucan SDK bounty, Samsung UX, as well as other awards.).
